What is the We Are Phi Delt Giving Days?
We’ve created the We Are Phi Delt philanthropic initiative in an effort to more effectively share and fund the great endeavors that happen over the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute and throughout the year. By supporting the Phi Delt Fund with your gift and your personal brand, you tell your friends and the world that you are a proud Phi and you support the continuous efforts of Phi Delta Theta to build men of character. Donors are encouraged to support the Phi Delt Fund from July 26-29 to tell our participants and members that you support them and their continued leadership and brotherhood.
You can learn more throughout the weekend by following Phi Delta Theta on social media channels, and we will also be providing brothers with email updates. To hear live interviews with students in attendance, Sean Wagner, Bob Biggs, Tio Kleberg, Dr. Chris W. Brussalis and others, please make sure that you are following our Facebook page. Any posts that you share throughout the weekend, please include #WeArePhiDelt so we can follow your Phi Delt story!
Who is Phi Delta Theta?
The pinnacle of fraternal and professional societies, centered on the potential of each brother, the unquenchable thirst for personal development and the lifelong values of friendship, sound learning and rectitude. We’re taking a 4 days to showcase our members to a larger community. At first glance we are At first glance we are engineers, lawyers, doctors, journalists, businessmen, and CEOs; but when you take a deeper look, who are we? We are fathers, sons, brothers, leaders, innovators, thinkers, motivators, and change-makers.
We are Phi Delt and together we strive to help each brother meet his true potential. By celebrating each person’s true self, and by learning from each other’s strengths while helping to improve each other’s weaknesses, every member of Phi Delta Theta develops into a greater version of himself than he could ever on his own. Rather than try to find young men to “mold” into some ideal, we celebrate the uniqueness of each individual and, through encouragement, values, example and brotherhood, empower every brother to exceed his personal expectations.
July 26-29 marks the 32nd summer leadership conference since 1987, now know as the Kleberg Emerging Leadership Institute. For Phi Delt, this conference serves as a pillar for leadership and best practice training for our undergraduate members. They are presented with the opportunity to learn from the successes and shortcomings of their peers, while also receiving important educational training from industry experts and alumni. The conference also boasts several opportunities for brothers to network with alumni and members of chapters across North America.
